Northampton town centre came to a standstill yesterday (Saturday) when hundreds of people stood still to watch a military parade go through the town centre.Over 100 soldiers from the second Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment (Northamptonshire and Rutland) marched through the at lunchtime to lay their colours to rest.Accompanied by the Band of the Irish Guards, the soldiers marched along Angel Street and Guildhall Street into St Giles Square, before going along George Row.They then stopped...
